Child Star Will Appear In Style Show For Girls

Charita Bauer to Display Clothes Wednesday at Wise Smith's

Charita Bauer, child star of several stage successes and well known for her portrayal of "Alice" on the air in ALICE IN WONDERLAND, will appear in the style show for girls from 7 to 16 years of age Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Wise Smith & Company.

Featured in the show will be the Sarn DeSaix dresses and besides Charita, there will be six other small girls modeling. School clothes for the fall season will be featured. Mrs. Helen Dudley Mohr, representative of the Sara DeSaix frocks, will direct the showing.

Charita has appeared on the air with such well-known stars as Helen Hayes, Eddie Cantor, Ed Wynn, Fred Allan and many others. A model since she was a baby, the child star has posed for outstanding artists, magazines, manufacturers and leading department stores throughout the country.

As present she is playing a featured role on BILLY AND BETTY WHITE, a commercial program on the air, and appears on other coast-to-coast programs.
