COMMENTS FROM THE PANEL:
Damon L. Jacobs: When Patricia Pease walks into a scene, there is no looking away, no fast-forwarding, no flipping channels.  She literally captures your attention, completely inhabiting the persona to whom she is giving heart, tears, and power.  She does not just act, she possesses the role she is given.  Every look, every gesture, every vocal intonation is completely organic to the character she vividly brings to life.  She is one of the rare actresses who draws not only from the strength gained from fighting her own personal battles, but uses that energy to 100% commit to helping others.  Whether she makes that happen through her acting, or her fitness consultations, Patricia is constantly using her talent, resilience, and passion to make this world a happier place than how she found it.  Let's all hope that Patricia gets more opportunities to entertain and inspire us in the new year.

INTERVIEW ARCHIVE:

  1. That was one of the best soap interviews I've ever read.

Patsy had such a special spark and an earnestness in her acting. She was a good actress, but it was her realness which really made Kim work. I think that was what set the Bradys apart, that realness they had back then, and they have never really had since the original actors began to leave.

I wish they could bring Kim back more often.

  2. Ah, yes, Kim and Shane! I missed Kim (and Patsy) so much. The times that she had returned to the show just wasn't enough--or nearly long enough. This is just another reason why DOOL will never again be a top-rated soap again.
