  1. These nominations are a joke!

Texas Battle instead of Kristoff St. John?

    Eva Pigford?

I understand how awful the situation is for actors of color on soaps, but where is Christel Khalil? Her performance over the summer was great. Why didn't they include Florencia Lozano, in the past, the Image Awards has nominated Latinos.

Cassius Willis instead of Kristoff St. John???? What did Willis do as Det. Gil?

Really? Tatyana Ali instead of Christel Khalil??? That's insane!

What did Ali do on Y&R other than say hi and bye and run away?

Whoever came up with these nominations just took randomly chose a few of the African-American actors on soaps and boom, created a list of nominees.

This is just wrong. Debbie Morgan and Darnell Williams and then Khalil and St. John had the most high profile roles on daytime for African-Americans. After them, Rene Jones and James Reynolds then Daphne and Terrell.

Texas Battle? Can he say a sentence without mumbling?

Why didn't they nominate Kamar De Los Reyes? He's part black but actually was a real lead actor on One Life to Live!
