On Tuesday, January 19, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa stops by Pine Valley's new home at Andrita Studios to welcome ALL MY CHILDREN to Los Angeles. The Mayor will play himself, crossing paths with Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) at Confusion, the local hotspot that's owned in part by Erica Kane. The two will have a back story of having met at a charity event in LA the year before. The airdate for this episode is February 17.Two days later, on Thursday, January 21, City Council President Eric Garcetti (whose district includes Andrita Studios) will appear in a scene with David Canary, who plays the role of Adam Chandler. His story will find him in Pine Valley, meeting with Adam Chandler about the initiatives they are taking together to make Chandler Enterprises more environmentally friendly. The airdate for this episode is February 16.

Why bother putting these two on the show? Will any of the viewers really care? This is just butt-kissing politicos.
This is a clever and welcoming idea for AMC's move to LA.
The cameos won't even be noticed by most....but fun for those in the know.
