  1. I hope and pray this news has an impact when it comes to talks about renewals in the next year. OLTL is completely setting records in ratings on SoapNet, does that count for anything?

  2. Damon,

If OLTL had 800K to 1M, I'd be more hopeful of SoapNet's ratings having a positive affect on OLTL's survival.

  3. I am glad that the ABC shows get a second-airing on SoapNet, but I watch SoapNet mostly for Y&R re-broadcasts - and I always notice that SoapNet never discloses those ratings in these recaps.

  4. I am with Mo. They USED to trumpet the Y&R numbers...but no more. Is there any way to find out how Y&R/GH/DOOL are doing?

  5. I think it's time - if these numbers can be found out every week - for the online soap media to start reporting that if you add on the ratings on Soapnet what the ratings for these shows that re-air off network are....

    like an adjusted number.

TV is a ratings game and OLTL is a show that technically gets more eyeballs (and therefore more chances to advertise) then a show like say Days or B&B.

    Should count!
