NEWS: Suds, Sarah Brown, Martha Byrne, Hope Matula

SUDS REPORT: VENICE, Markle, Brown, Stenbeck
Headlines include: VENICE premières today! Plus: You’ll have to pay to see it again! ONE LIFE's Stephen Markle returns! Is ATWT's Mick James Stenbeck? Kimberlin Brown back on Y&R? NuMalcolm speaks!

Kimberly Matula joins B&B as Hope Logan
ctress Kimberly Matula has been cast in the role of the teenaged “Hope Logan” on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley P. Bell announced today. “Kimberly is a vibrant and talented young actress,” said Bell. “I look forward to seeing her bring ‘Hope’ to life.” Additionally, Bell explains, “Aging the character of ‘Hope’ to a teenager allows us to bring the next generation of ‘Logans’ to the forefront, as well as play a broader range of the ‘Forrester’ vs. ‘Logan’ story. ‘Hope’s’ presence at Forrester Creations, as well as in ‘Brooke’ and ‘Ridge’s’ home, sparks an intense competition between ‘Hope’ and her step-sister ‘Steffy’ as well as creates new conflict between long-time rivals ‘Brooke’ and ‘Taylor’ as each woman is determined to protect her own daughter.”

INTERVIEW: B&B's Sarah Brown (Sandy)
"I have got to say, it’s a wonderful group of actors to work with, and it’s different. It’s not a mafia or SOPRANOS-type of show, and it’s not a crime show. There is not a lot of crime, but there is a lot of heartbreak and dealing with families who have very complicated relationships with each other. That is fascinating and interesting."

INTERVIEW: GOTHAM creator/star Martha Byrne
"The soap opera world is like living in a sweet bubble. We all understand the difficult job we have on a daily basis and we support each other. I got to work with Kin Shriner (Scotty, GH) when I was on ATWT and I love hearing his stories about the early crazy days of soap operas. I cast him in GOTHAM, and many other friends, because of their work ethic, sense of understanding of the genre and their belief in the future of the medium. I cannot tell you the overwhelming support I have received for Gotham from the daytime community of actors."

INTERVIEW: GH's Lisa LoCicero (Olivia)
LoCicero appeared on last night's episode of "BuzzWorthy Radio."

Former CORONATION STREET star denies assault
Former CORRIE actor Bruce Jones will stand trial accused of assaulting his wife and dangerous driving. The actor has denied the charges.
