ABC: Ripa & Consuelos Appearing on AMC For Show's 40th

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos will return to the Emmy Award-winning daytime drama ALL MY CHILDREN for the show's 40th Anniversary episode, it was announced today by Brian Frons president, Daytime, Disney-ABC Television. This will be the first time either actor has appeared on the show since they left in 2002. The milestone special episodes will air on January 4 and 5, 2010.

Ripa's current daily TV home, LIVE! WITH REGIS AND KELLY, will cover the couple's return to Pine Valley for an exclusive "first look" that will air on the popular morning talk show in November.

Ripa first joined the cast of ALL MY CHILDREN in 1990, originating the role of Hayley Vaughan Santos. In 1995 Consuelos made his debut, creating the role of Mateo Santos. The characters quickly became one of daytime television most popular super couples. It was their meeting on ALL MY CHILDREN that brought this real-life couple together.

Fourteen years, one marriage and three children later, they've renewed their professional partnership by forming a New York-based production company, Milojo Productions. Their first effort, the feature documentary The Streak for ESPN, premiered at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival and was nominated for a 2009 Sports Emmy as Outstanding Sports Documentary. In addition, Milojo signed a first-look development deal with TLC and Discovery, and has three series currently in production: MASTERS OF RECEPTION, airing tonight and the next two Fridays at 10:00 p.m. on TLC, follows Robert and Jerry Frungillo as they navigate their New Jersey wedding empire week to week; MOM, INC. (wt), hosted by Ripa, follows female inventors as they're given the chance of a lifetime at selling their products to over 90 million viewers on HSN; and OFF THE REZ, which follows Shoni Schimmel, the Native American 16-year-old basketball prodigy, as she balances her burgeoning athletic career with her family's new life off the Reservation.

ALL MY CHILDREN will celebrate its 40th Anniversary on January 5, 2010.
