ABC comments on ONE LIFE TO LIVE cancellation rumors
"The only upcoming move ONE LIFE TO LIVE is making is to the ALL MY CHILDREN stage after that series relocates to Los Angeles," says ABC Daytime spokesperson Jori Peterson. "This will give ONE LIFE TO LIVE more room and increase their production value."

ABC's Sunday night soaps see some ratings erosion
ABC saw some erosion for Sunday night dramas DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES and BROTHERS & SISTERS. At 9 p.m. HOUSEWIVES averaged 13.2 million viewers and a 4.5 demo rating, a decline of 44% compared to last season's premiere. BROTHERS & SISTERS pulled in 9.3 million total viewers and a 3 demo rating, down 35%. But both shows opened even with where they concluded last spring and notched second-place finishes in their respective hours behind football on NBC.

INTERVIEW: GH's Jonathan Jackson (soon-to-be-returned Lucky)
"I’m sort of in a whirlwind. This is pretty much out of the blue. It’s been 10 years since I left the show but in some ways it doesn’t feel like that at all. When I [got the offer] from GH I talked about it with my family and it felt like the right time to return. I also talked it over with Tony Geary [Lucky’s dad Luke], who was really positive about this. Our relationship goes back a long way. That’s one of the biggest motivators in my coming back—getting to work with Tony again. It feels like a very exciting adventure."

EASTENDERS nabs seven Inside Soap Awards
EASTENDERS took home top honours at the Inside Soap Awards, as well as a fourth consecutive Best Actress win for Lacey Turner. The Walford soap beat CORONATION STREET by collecting seven of the 14 gongs, including Best Soap, to rival CORRIE's haul of five awards. Channel 4 soap HOLLYOAKS won one award, with the Best Family title going to The McQueens, while EMMERDALE went away empty-handed.

Craig Wright, Mark Burnett set CBS drama
DIRTY SEXY MONEY creator Craig Wright has teamed with top reality producer Mark Burnett for a drama project set at CBS. The untitled project, produced by Sony Pictures TV, centers on a lawyer who, after a near-fatal car crash, is offered a second chance at life by the ghost of his ex-wife. Wright is writing the show, which he is executive producing with Burnett and Burnett's wife, Roma Downey.
