Eric William Morris (ex-Matt, AS THE WORLD TURNS) and David Andrew MacDonald (ex-Edmund, GUIDING LIGHT) were among the many new cast members of Broadway's "Mamma Mia" last night. If you are not familiar with the musical, "Mamma Mia" is funny tale of family and friendship unfolds on a tiny Greek island set to ABBA music.
Morris plays Sky whle MacDonald stars as Harry Bright. If you have seen the show already, it's time to see it again.
Didn't David play Edmund in GL? Glad to see them getting alternative employment.

ReplyDeleteRoger, I'm only a relative newbie to the show, since I've only watched it since Jan (just my bad luck that they take a show off the air after 72 years when I start watching it!) and with the way soaps run, I wouldn't have been surprised if he'd played Jeffrey at some stage...lol. And despite the fact that you don't want to think of Jeffrey, Jeffrey certainly wants you to think of him...lol. May I suggest some therapy to help you resolve your issue on this matter....lol :-))
ReplyDeleteLOL. I know some fans were upset by no Jeffrey/Edmund resolution on Friday but I was hoping they wouldn't be on and so glad they weren't! Bradley Cole did play another character before (Richard) he started playing Jeffrey.
ReplyDeleteJordan Clarke also played another character in the 70s (Tim) but by the time he returned as Billy Lewis a lot of people had forgotten about it.

ReplyDeleteEric William Morris played Adam on ATWT, didn't he? One of the several actors that played the roll. I don't remember a character named Matt on ATWT in the recent past, anyway........I am thrilled that David MacDonald is on Broadway again. That man has more talent in his little finger!!!!! I'll sure miss seeing him on the soaps for now, but I'm so happy for him, too. I wish I was close enough to see the Broadway performace.

ReplyDeleteAs many of Musicals lovers I LOVE Mamma Mia! It is my favourite ever... Last year I’ve been in NY & I tried to get my ticket …guess what everything was sold out that show how great the show is. Anyhow I end up getting it from a site through Rickstickets.com. Next week I’m going to visit my sister and I just got some pretty good tix from the same place
