THE LAKE, a new web series bowing on TheWB.com, is a drama/comedy about a group of young adults trying, without success, to escape their daily lives back home on the shores of Lake Eleanor.

“The summer time is when people get a chance to reinvent themselves. I think that was one of the things we were trying to look at here.” Priestley continued. “The cast we assembled all really brought a lot to the material.”

Inside the Waterpod
Living on the Waterpod is the 3,000-square foot barge that’s been docked around New York harbor this summer. It is made of wood from water towers, art crates and a Parks Department pier; metal railings from the Broadway set of “Equus;” the foliage-print wallpaper that decorates the exterior of the four cabins from the backdrop of AS THE WORLD TURNS – much of this was donated by Materials for the Arts a very worthy and beloved non-profit in Queens.
