Vanessa Williams will be hosting the Daytime Emmy Entertainment Awards on August 30 on The CW at 8pm ET from the historic Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.
The latest list of presenters include:
Bradford Anderson and Kirsten Storms (GENERAL HOSPITAL)
Van Hansis and Jake Silbermann (AS THE WORLD TURNS)
Dr. Travis Stork (THE DOCTORS) - the new show not the classic soap
Gilles Marini (DANCING WITH THE STARS)
Lara Spencer and Kevin Frazier will be hosting the Red Carpet show before the telecast on The CW.
Alex Trebek will be hosting the Daytime Emmy Creative Arts Awards on August 29.

speaking of the "the doctors" (the classic show that is), i thought it was supposed to start airing on hallmark channel this summer. i sent hallmark an email inquiry a couple of weeks ago, but never heard back.
Sounds a lot like last years presenters. Is it to much to ask for crystal chappell and jessica leccia? Or do u think we'll get crystal and peter reckell since she's going to Days

The plan is to still air the show but Hallmark has been doing through some major behind the scenes transitions so the date is TBD.
Katie, we'll have a Daytime Emmy interview on next week's podcast and I will definitely ask about Crystal and Jessica.
I think to distinguish the classic show from the new show, they are calling the new one (in its logo)
