Some wonderful new video was added to YouTube yesterday. On an episode of his show TOMORROW from 1975, the late Tom Snyder interviewed Mary Stuart, Agnes Nixon, producer Joe Stuart of THE DOCTORS, and Bryna Laub of the Daytime Serial Newsletter. Topics include soaps expanding to one hour, the production process, male soap viewers, what makes a good soap opera story, daytime villains and villainesses and much more. The show was broadcast from the set of THE DOCTORS at Rockefeller Center in New York.

Great interview. Intelligent people acting & writing intelligent soaps more than 30 years ago. Compare that to the drivel that are some soaps today. Someone please get this to Brian Frons & Ken Corday.
