Woman charged with child neglect in death of 3-year-old
A 39-year-old Madison woman was charged Tuesday with child neglect resulting in the February death of her 3-year-old grandchild from an overdose of the prescription painkiller oxycodone. According to a criminal complaint, April M. Walker, did not seek help for nearly six hours after the child could not be awakened.

Instead of going to the hospital, Walker drove two YWCA residents to the Job Center, saying she was then going to the emergency room. But Walker went to her mother’s house, watched THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS then made calls about Amaya, eventually speaking with a nurse at a clinic. Walker then left to get a friend and returned to find Amaya wasn’t breathing. The friend called 911 just after 1 p.m. Amaya died the next day

90210, brought to you by Dr. Pepper
I was going to blog about tonight's 90210 but this Stephanie Lysaght review in the L.A. Times pretty much summed up my thoughts. After Macys.com on B&B today, I wasn't ready for an overload of Dr. Pepper on 90210 (even moreso than usual).

"There is so much I want to say about tonight's episode of 90210. So much that was good, really good! I want to talk about the way I teared up a little, when Dixon Wilson watched his birth mother laugh with Annie Wilson in Arizona. I want to talk about the way the unlikely friendship between Ethan Ward and Liam Court charmed and surprised me, and the way Ethan's faux-peyote realization gave his character -- finally -- a reason to be there on the screen; that was powerful stuff.

But I can't. Because I need to interrupt this edition of "90210"-Showtracker to bring you a special message from our sponsor: Dr. Pepper.

Were they kidding with that tonight?"

3-D Network coming soon
The seeds of the nation's first 3-D broadcast network have been planted, repping a small step for television, but a giant leap for 3-D. Signet Intl. Holdings, a publicly traded company led by former NBC and PBS exec Tom Donaldson and boxing promoter Ernie Letiziano, is buying AMG TV, a modestly sized net that feeds syndicated programs to some 200 terrestrial station affiliates, some of them carrying programming only part of the day.

Kelly Ripa on LETTERMAN
"Don't you owe it to yourself to have misery with someone?"
