News Round-up: CORRIE Cuts, Celeb Lunch, FNL

CORRIE cast 'panic over job cuts'
CORONATION STREET star Michael Le Vell has claimed that the show's cast are living in fear for their jobs. The actor, who has played Kevin Webster for 26 years, revealed that even long-established Weatherfield stars are concerned about their future following recent job cuts at ITV.

"We are scared that we face getting axed with what's going on," Le Vell told The People. "But we all have the attitude we will just carry on doing what we are doing to the best we can. What will happen will happen, but in the meantime we want to continue working hard as a team and hopefully we will reign supreme at what is a difficult time for ITV."

Celebrities Auction Off Lunch Dates for Charity
Some big stars are donating their afternoons to have lunch with you – yes, you! – for a good cause. The Adrienne Shelly Foundation is auctioning off lunches with superbabes like Paul Rudd, Patrick Duffy, Jon Hamm, Keri Russell and Nathan Fillion on eBay, so trade in those tax returns for some celebrity one-on-one time.

Sara Bibel is not digging The Zs
"I suspect they’ll turn out to be non-sibling con artists who are after Luke’s money. The whole story will probably be over within a month. That would be par for the course for ATWT these days. In this case, I’m glad. Without the benefit of more subtle writing, these two remind me of Poochie, the unbearable character brought on to add youth appeal to The Simpsons’ Itchy and Scratchy Show."

FNL ratings up for season finale
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS concluded its season on NBC with 4.4 million views.

Zinc Bistro's Terry Ellisor is not Terry Lester
Terry Ellisor, owner of Scottsdale's Zinc Bistro and the Mission, is often accused of being soap star Terry Lester in disguise, despite the fact that Lester died in 2003.
