SEARCH FOR TOMORROW debuted on CBS on September 3, 1951 (61 years ago today!). It was a fifteen minute, black and white segment that cost $8,073 dollars a week to produce.
The show last aired on CBS on Friday, March 26, 1982. NBC picked it up on the following Monday, March 29, 1982. It continued on NBC until the final episode was aired on Friday, December 26, 1986.
