Broadway Bares

The 18th annual Broadway Bares fundraiser, benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, was held last night at the Roseland Ballroom, and raised a record-breaking $874,372 for the charity.

Created and executive-produced by Tony winner Jerry Mitchell, the theme for this year's fundraiser was "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland."

Former AS THE WORLD TURNS hunk Matthew Morrison (center) was on hand along with fellow actors Vincent DePaul and Nick Adams.

BROADWAY BARES 18 BROUGHT DOWN THE ROSELAND HOUSE ON SUNDAY!! FANTASTIC SHOW!! PRODUCED BY JERRY MITCHEL AND DIRECTED BY DENIS JONES. I FOUND OUT MORRISON WAS NOT THE ONLY ACTOR ON ATWT. VINCENT DE PAUL PLAYED CHARLIE THE BARTENDER AT THE JAVA/METRO FOR LIKE 4 YEARS. BUT THERE IS MORE- DE PAUL WAS IN THE ORGINAL JOHN WATERS FILM"HAIRSPRAY"(1988). MORRISON YEARS LATER WOULD THEN PLAY LINK LARKIN IN HAIRSPRAY(NYC) ORGINATING THE CHARACHTER ON BROADWAY OF LINK LARKIN. WOW!! PS: THESE GUYS HAVE SUCH A LEGACY AND STAR QUALITY. NICK ADAMS WAS A STUNNING DANCER IN HIS NUMBER IN B.B 18... THEY SHOULD HAVE THEIR OWN SHOW. "MEN OF TALENT AND STYLE"
